Some people may have seen my deviant name made the connection to Nite Owl/Silk Spectre in "Watchmen." I assure you that I came up with my screen name long before I knew of the existence of "Watchmen," and that it has nothing to do with the love affair between the two costumed heroes. In fact, Silk Spectre and Nite Owl were my two LEAST favorite characters in the story. I find both of them shallow and obnoxious. Together, they make one giant ball of annoying. As much as I loved the movie, the romance was the worst element.

I would have you know that I do not supporst Owl/Spectre, even though it is canon. The only pairing I support in "Watchmen" is Owl/Rorsharch (which is totally canon, if you're looking at it the right way).

That said, I truly enjoyed "Watchmen." Dr. Manhattan's character was not as developed as it could have been, but Rorsharch turned out to be much more than I expected. I was very impressed by him. All of the deist themes and clockwork analogies made me a very happy movie-goer. Once again, Alan Moore has crafted a masterpiece comic.
